Seller Due Diligence

We reserve the right to revoke your usage of the MINT Market website at any time without notice if we chose to. You must agree to the below Terms & Conditions before we accept you as a seller at MINT Market Online:

• Age – You must be older than 18 to register as a seller for MINT Market.
• Trade License – It is required for any seller online or at a physical market to have a valid UAE Trade License. 
• Information provided – Sellers need to provide accurate information and are prohibited from using false information or impersonate another person or company through their MINT Market account.
• Disclaimer – All sellers are responsible for ensuring they have all necessary rights to their content and that they are not infringing or violating any third party’s rights by posting it.
• Taxes – All sellers are responsible for paying all taxes & VAT.
• Data protection – Sellers are responsible to adhere to the UAE Customer Data Protection rules. 
• Purchases – You must not direct customers to your own shop or online platform to make the purchases.
• English – All listings must be written in English without grammatical errors or bad spelling.  
• UAE Law – Sellers may not use the website for illegal or unauthorized purposes. By registering on the website, you agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content. The seller must not breach any of the laws, rules, regulations, social norms, customs, or commercial practices of the United Arab Emirates or be deemed to be illegal and/or inappropriate.
• Seller Behaviour – MINT Market reserves the right to remove certain comments or the seller’s content on their pages if they conflict with our community guidelines.

   

Description of items sold

What is handmade on MINT Market? 

We have the makers — sellers who are literally making their items with their own hands (or tools). On the other end, we have designers — sellers who design their items but rely entirely on outside assistance or another business to help physically produce them. Many handmade sellers fall in the middle because they are both making and designing their items.

Limits on what can be sold – 

The following types of items are prohibited or restricted on MINT Market:

1. Food & Beverages 
2. Alcohol, tobacco & drugs
3. Animal products 
4. Dangerous items – Hazardous materials and weapons 
5. Illegal items 
6. Nudity and mature content 
7. Violent items

    

Fees

Joining and starting a shop on MINT Market is priced at AED1,200 per year. Once an item sells, there is a 25% transaction fee on the sale price (including the shipping price you set). If you accept payments with PayPal, there is also a payment processing fee based on their fee structure
