Customer Terms and Conditions

  • Introduction
    1. Thank you for visiting us at MINT Market Online. These terms and conditions along with any policies referred to in this document (the “Terms”) set out the legally binding agreement between “you” (the “customer”) and “us” (“MINT LLC” trading as MINT Market Online).
    2. It is important that you carefully read and understand these Terms and any associated policies as these govern the relationship between Mint LLC and you and your use of our platform and services.
  • When these Terms apply
    1. These Terms apply to all customers on MINT Market Online, our online marketplace and by your continued use of MINT Market Online, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, as amended from time to time.
    2. Once you place your order on MINT Market Online’s website for products, goods or services from any seller listed on our online marketplace (a “Seller”), an agreement between you and the relevant Seller from whom you are purchasing products on Mint Market Online, governed by these Terms, will come into force.
  • Your Use of MINT Market Online
    1. It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of information provided to MINT Market Online and the Seller at the time of checkout. Neither the Seller nor MINT Market LLC will be held liable for any issues arising from inaccurately entered information.
    2. For any queries or communication regarding the purchase, please reach out directly to the Seller.
    3. MINT Market LLC does not assume any liability for the export or import of items sold on MINT Market Online.
    4. In accordance with UAE tax laws, not all Sellers listed on MINT Market Online are required to register for VAT. Consequently, only those Sellers who indicate that VAT will be added to purchases are obligated to email customers a tax invoice upon payment completion.
  • Privacy Policy
    1. Our MINT Community and the privacy of its members is top priority for us. Therefore, we will never store or collect information from you to pass on to third parties, any personal information that is retained on the site is used only to enhance your usage of the site and of MINT Market online.
    2. Any financial information, including debit/credit card information will not be stored by us and is managed only by our payment provider, Ziina. Their privacy details can be found here (add their link).
  • Returns & Exchanges
    1. If you decide that your purchase isn’t what you are looking for, no problem – you have 14 days from delivery of your item to request a return.
    2. What You Can’t Send Back
      1. Some products sold on MINT Market Online are non-cancellable and non-refundable and this information will always be stated where applicable on the individual product pages. Examples of non-refundable items include (but are not limited to):
        • Anything that’s made to a specific requirements (i.e. is personalised or can’t be resold by the Seller as it is made to personal specifications).
        • Perishable products, including but not limited to food and flowers.
        • Custom-made items that are specially commissioned when you place an order, including but not limited to art, sculpture and ceramics.
        • Personal items sold with a hygiene seal, including but not limited to earrings, cosmetics or underwear.
        • Gift Cards.
        • Any sale or discounted items.

 

  1. Return Process for MINT Market Online Registered Account Holder: If you have an account with MINT Market Online, please follow the following steps to return your item and obtain a refund:
    1. Log into your account and navigate to Returns and Refunds to locate the order for which you wish to create a return.
    2. Select the product you wish to return and follow the steps providing the reason for the return.
  • The Seller will then contact you directly with the steps to return your item to them, including the address for returning the item.
  1. Please note you must bear the cost of returning the item to the Seller, unless the item is faulty, in which case the seller will arrange for collection of the item.
  2. Once the Seller receives the item and have verified it is in good condition, they will notify MINT Market Online and we will process the refund back to your payment card within 7 days.
  3. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging (where possible).
  • Orders placed via Gift Card may be exchanged at the Seller’s discretion but cannot be refunded.
  • Please ensure the item is in the original packaging and is suitably packaged for delivery transportation (if the Seller receives the item in a damaged state or if the quality of the product is diminished in any way, then a refund or exchange will not be possible).
  1. Return Process for Guest Checkout: If you checked out as a guest at MINT Market Online, please follow the following steps to return your item and obtain a refund:
    1. Email support@mintmarket.ae using the subject line ‘Refund Request’ and include the following information in the email:
      • Order number;
      • The item you wish to return; and
      • Reason for the return
  • Cancelling an Order
  • If you decide to cancel the order, then please notify us via support@mintmarket.ae  as soon as possible of your decision, please state your order number in the message.
  • Given the nature of delivery in the UAE, some items may be shipped the same day & cancelling an order may not be possible. In this event, you may need to receive the goods and initiate the return process for a refund.
  • Delivery
    1. Our standard policy for delivery in the UAE is 1 to 2 days for ready made products.
    2. Any product that is bespoke, personalised or customised in any way specifically for you will take longer. The exact time of delivery will be communicated on the product page of the website.
  • Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
    1. These Terms and this website are governed by the laws of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
    2. In the event of any dispute arising from your use of this website or any transactions conducted through it, MINT Market LLC will always prioritize resolving it amicably and in good faith.
    3. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, both parties agree to settle the dispute through binding arbitration, adhering to the rules of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC). The seat of arbitration shall be in Dubai, conducted in English, and the arbitration decision shall be final and binding.
